Lightning Conductor Web Part
The Lightning Conductor Web Part allows you to aggregate data from Lists and Libraries throughout the current Site Collection, and across Multiple Site Collections. If you want to see all of your Tasks in one Web Part, instead of navigating to lots of different sites to view your Tasks list, the Lightning Conductor Web Part can perform that for you.
You can base the Lightning Conductor Web Part on List Types, or Content Types, Filter the data based on any column in the List or Library, and apply styles to the Web Part, or create your own styles.
You can configure the Properties of the Web Part to display items selectively from different site collections, from all site collections, or from the current site collection.
Once you have chosen your Lists/Content Types to get data from, you can then filter the results:
Finally, you can create your own XSL styles, or use the Out of the Box Styles. Creating your own styles gives you the freedom of applying cohesion between the style of your site, and the style of the Web Part.

How Does it work?
After adding our easy to deploy SharePoint Solution to your SharePoint 2007 Farm you can simply add the Lightning Conductor Web Part through editing a page and selecting the Lightning Conductor Web Part from the Web Part gallery.
To Configure the web part open the web part toolbar. From here you can select which Site Collection you want to obtain data from, and which list. Apply your filters and Style, and then click ok.
