BDC Mapper Web Part
The BDC Mapper Web Part from Lightning Tools allows you to plot your geographical data on Microsofts Virtual Earth with an easy to configure web part. Allowing users to plot their Line of Business data on a map allows for a whole new visualisation opportunity that can help your users make quicker more informed decisions.
As well as plotting your data, you can display fields and bdc actions in the pop-up balloons. Also if you BDC data has numerical information you can configure the pushpins to be indicators much like KPI signals.

How Does it work?
After adding our easy to deploy SharePoint Solution to your SharePoint 2007 Farm you can simply add the BDC Mapper Web Part through editing a page and selecting the BDC Mapper Web Part from the Web Part gallery.
To Configure the web part open the web part toolbar. From here you can select which Line of Business data you want to plot, and then select which fields from your Lob system are the address, city, postcode and country.
Finally you need to select what information you want to be displayed in the pop up bubble of your map when a pushpin is selected.
Click OK and your Line of Business data is mapped for you. If you hover over a pushpin you'll get the little bubble show up displaying the extra information you requested.
