LT Data Viewer Web Part - Getting Started

To connect to your database using the Lightning Tools Data View Web Part, you need to:
1, Configure the Server Name and Credentials section. 
2, Choose your provider e.g. SQL Client Data Provider
3, Type in the Server name e.g. Servername\Instance
4, Choose either Integrated Security or Enter the Username and Password

5, When you have provided the connection information, click the Database browse button to the right of the Database Drop Down List. This will populate the list with your choice of Databases and the list of Tables, Views and Stored Procedures for each database. Select which Database and Object you wish to connect to as shown below:

6, To configure the columns that you wish to see in the grid, click the cog icon.  You can then configure the Columns for display, the aliases for those columns, as well as grouping, order, sort options, and aggregation

7, Click OK to view the data in the web part
