The Lightning Conductor 2010 Express web Part provides you with a current site collection rollup web part that is easy to configure for both aggregating the content and displaying it. If you want to aggregate content across site collections then check out the full version of the Lightning Conductor 2010

The Content Query Web part by Microsoft which is available only with Office SharePoint Server 2010 via the Publishing Feature will only provide you with aggregation from the current site collection. You can display multiple columns in the CQWP if you type them correctly and you have built a custom XSL file that is able to display the columns entered.

The Lightning Conductor Web Part Express shown below is easy configure and does not require any time developing complicated XSL files. Simply add the web part to the page and follow three easy steps.

Instead of writing complicated XML and XSL, simply tick the check boxes for the columns that you wish to display as shown below.

The Configured web part is presented allowing the user to filter the contents using easy to use filter options driven by the column headers.
