How to use DeliverPoint 2007 to Copy Your SharePoint Permissions
DeliverPoint 2007 allows you to copy SharePoint permissions from one user to another or one Domain Group to another throughout your Web Application or Site Collection. In many enterprise organizations you will find that Web Applications can contain hundreds of site collections and often each site collection can consist of hundreds or thousands of sites. Some of these sites will inherit SharePoint permissions from their parent sites, but some will also have unique SharePoint permissions. Copying SharePoint permissions from one user to another is often required to create duplicate login accounts depending on how you access SharePoint, or even for two users who will be working within the same role. DeliverPoint will not only copy the SharePoint permissions at site level, but will also copy them at List, List Item and Folder level as well.
